The most recent local capture of the psyllid was in a small grove on Sept. 5 along Highway 119, close to Pumpkin Center near Bakersfield. The pest was found in a grove of about 30 young trees at a private residence.Neither that insect, nor another one spotted at a residence in Wasco last year, was infected.....
